You wake up in a strange house. How did you get there? Where did you come from, and could you go back again? Play multiple times to find out why you're so far from home and what's happened to the village you find yourself in. Interact with the environment and the inhabitants of the village. Each branch gives you different clues.

This Global Game Jam entry was my first time scripting anything, unless you count writing interactive fiction in Word and copy-and-pasting it into Twine and articy:draft. I learned Unity plugin Fungus the three days leading up to GGJ 2019.

Vanished's NPCs are altered portraits from the 1800s (from the Loewentheil Collection of African-American Photographs). Items come from photos of real-world objects or photos of real places, and the backgrounds are real-world places.
